Peppermint Patty-Asheville

Located at the end of Barkwells Lane, this 2 bedroom, 2 full bath log cabin feels private, spacious, and homey. The pine floors and walls reaching up to the cathedral ceiling in the living room take you away from the every day. Rock, swing or play games no matter what the weather on the 40’ covered porch.

Lacey's - Asheville

This 2 bedroom, 2 full bath log cabin is just the right size for two or four. Lots of breathing space under the cathedral ceiling, but cozy enough to curl up in front of the fire or rock on the porch and contemplate life in the mountains.

Libby's - Asheville

This spacious and elegant log cabin with cathedral ceiling has 2 king bedrooms, 2 full baths and a loft accessible by staircase with king bed or twins and half bath upstairs. Swing or rock on the roomy porch while gazing at the pond and meadow.

Baxter - Asheville

Convenient to the entrance of Barkwells with parking at your door, once you walk up the short ramp and step inside you are apart from the other cabins and you’ll see only earth, water, sky and bliss all around.

Bo's Hideaway - Asheville

Bo's Hideaway is a renovated 2 BR, 2 Bath cabin. Each bedroom has a luxurious, custom-made king-sized bed, vintage furniture and an adjacent full bath. The huge, completely fenced back yard has a gate into the rest of Barkwells,

Fisher's Cabin - Asheville

This bright 2 BR/2 bath cabin fills to the cathedral ceiling with morning sun or a rising moon over the mountains beyond the pond. An open great room with windows aplenty, a stone fireplace and fully equipped kitchen with island makes inside feel as big as outside!

Duchess - Brevard

Elegant living greets you in Duchess’s cottage, with its traditional, classic style of luxury, from the massive king bed to the over stuffed furniture.

Reservations for Charlie are weekly; Saturday to Saturday from April through December. Stays of 4 nights or more can be reserved January – March.

Charlie - Brevard

This two-bedroom cottage with at-your-door parking has been called the treehouse because of its home nestled in a rare grove of majestic hemlock trees. The view of the pond with the mountains beyond definitely takes you far away from the everyday, yet it’s just steps from the fully fenced meadow and waterfall.

Reservations for Charlie are weekly; Saturday to Saturday from April through December. Stays of 4 nights or more can be reserved January – March.

4WD or AWD is required as the view requires a steep gravel driveway.
