One of the many notable figures to have graced the Inn with his presence over the years was none other than James K. Polk, the 11th US President, who was friends with the son of Abraham Boyd, who built the Inn. Here in this Presidential suite, you will also find odes to other famed visitors Ulysses S. Grant & Andrew Jackson.

The Polk Suite offers the Inn's only king-sized bed with gorgeous lake-view and easy access to the wrap-around porch, which is ideal for reading in the cool evening air.
