Is right at the top of the grand front staircase. This room is named for the original owner of the house. The suite has an Oak king-sized bed. The working seasonal oak mantle fireplace has fantastic Art Nouveau ceramic tiles.  The bathroom has a two-person whirlpool bath that is under a pair of massive 1893 stained glass windows. A shower and Victorian style ceramic tiles in the natural theme of botanicals complete this wonderfully romantic bath. A peek a boo view of the river rambles from the bedroom windows in leafless months of the year, as well as, a picturesque view of the state park bluff.  All year this suite has a view of the spires from the natural stone mid 1800’s churches. At times you can see paddle wheelers steaming their along the Mississippi.
